I should have posted this earlier today, but I'm just now getting to it. :) Sandra Leesmith graciously contacted me last week about being part of a post she was working on for The Seekers' blog (Seekerville) about "The World of Book Reviews". She interviewed several book bloggers about how they got started, why they write reviews, and tips for others to consider.

ReplyDeleteI'm an active book reviewer on Amazon because I know how valuable those reviews are, especially to the self-publishing authors. So, I enjoyed yesterday's Seekerville post.
The story of your 2010 sacrifice experience hit close to home. My church did a smaller-scale sacrifice challenge as a Lent program several years ago. The Bible study and drama I wrote for that program morphed into a book I recently self-published, titled Giving It Up for Lent. I'd be delighted to send you a PDF copy, for review or not, as you wish.
