It's Monday! What Are You Reading?!

"It's Monday! What Are You Reading?" is a weekly meme hosted by Book Journey where we share what we're reading and our goals for the week.

What I Read Last Week ...
It's been a GREAT week reading-wise. Of course, several of these were shorter, but I'm feeling great about how much I read! Shadows of the Past and Friend Me are GREAT if you're into suspense! (And I'm hosting a giveaway for a copy of Friend Me here.)

What I'm Reading Now ...
I set The Prayer Box aside in favor of a few review books, but I'm hoping to finish it this week. And I just started Smitten Book Club, but I love these authors!

What I Hope to Read This Week ...
I'm focusing on review books again this week for Review Copy Cleanup. I hope to read at least two of these books this week.

That's what I'm hoping to read this week. What are you reading?

  1. Kisses for Katie was soooooo good!! I thoroughly enjoyed that one! Right now I'm finishing up Lisa Bergren's Remnants: Season of Wonder! It is amazing! One of the best books I have read!

  2. I'm over half-way through with Denise Hunter's Sweetwater Gap. I know it came out several years ago, but it's the last book of hers that I hadn't read. Once I'm done with it I have three novellas of hers to read and then I will be all caught up.

I just finished Miss Fortune by Sara Mills. It's a wonderful suspense novel that is set in the 1940's with back-flashes from the 1930's. This novel isn't an extreme, edge-of-your-seat suspense, but it has the feel of one of those black and white semi-suspense movies from the 1940's; nostalgic, suspenseful, emotional. I have the sequel, Miss Match checked out right now.

After reading that sequel I'll probably read Agatha Christie's Three Act Tragedy and Sarah M. Eden's Friends and Foes. It's a Regency.
