I'm a bit stunned that January has already come to an end! I feel like we were just celebrating Christmas and ringing in the New Year! Yet here we are one-twelfth of the way through 2014! I've not posted my "best of 2013" posts, nor my "goals" posts for 2014. I may eventually get them up since they are partially written! One of my goals for the year was going to be to start posting a monthly recap again. So I'll just start there, okay? :)
I read 16 books in January!
Many of these were SO good, but if I have to choose favorites, these three stand out the most. (Click on the title to read my review.)
The Headmistress of Rosemere by Sarah E. Ladd
Dare to Love Again by Julie Lessman
No One to Trust by Lynette Eason
What's up next month?
I'm participating in the Review Copy Cleanup. I'm hoping to read 15 review books and write 10 reviews as part of that challenge! And maybe I'll get around to writing some of those "best of" and "goals" posts I mentioned earlier. :)
What did you read in January? Any goals for this month?
Happy Reading!!!
Wow, 16 books read for January is awesome!! Here I thought reading 9 books last month was great!! My favorite reads for January were The Asylum by John Harwood (Victorian Gothic Horror) and Imperium by Robert Harris (Historical novel about ancient Rome).
ReplyDeleteI also bought more books than I can recall off hand to add to my ever growing to be read pile. Soooo many books to read and soooo little time to read it seems.
My February goals include participating in a Valentine inspired read-a-thon, a book blogger love-a-thon and reading 4-5 books this month. I'm also hosting an audiobook giveaway, which started today. See link for more details: http://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2014/02/an-unabridged-audiobook-giveaway.html
GREAT job! So many great books! Your three favorites were favorites of mine this month too!
