"It's Monday! What Are You Reading?" is a weekly meme hosted by Book Journey where we share what we're reading and our goals for the week.
What I Read Last Week ...
Between the Love for Books Read-A-Thon and Hubs being out of town last week, I had a bit more time than usual to read. ALL of these books were so good! I'll be posting reviews soon.
What I Hope to Read This Week ...
The end of Review Copy Cleanup is in sight, so I'm going to make a big push to read a few more review books before I move on to other things. I'd love to read all of these, but I'm shooting for at least three.
That's what I'm hoping to read this week. What are you reading?
I wish I could read as fast as you, Brooke! My current read is The Sentinels of Andersonville by Tracy Groot. I chose this book because it's southern fiction that takes place in my state, and I have enjoyed several books that Tyndale published. In fact, out of the four Tyndale books I read last year, three made my "best of" list for 2013. Even though Sentinels is not a comfortable read, Tracy injects some wonderful humor, so I'm intrigued so far. And next on my list is A Road Unknown by Barbara Cameron.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your posts, Brooke!
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on "Kisses from Katie"! Tonight I'm going to be starting "In the Shadow of Jezebel" by Mesu Andrews! So excited! Saturday night I finished "Roses Have Thorns"!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to have some extra time to read!
ReplyDeleteI've read Terri Blackstock before, but I haven't read that one. I hope you like it!
