Blogaversary Party!
I can't believe it's finally here! My 2nd Blogaversary! It's officially on Thursday, but I'm celebrating all week long!
Hubs asked me the other day how many reviews I've done in the past two years. To be honest, I don't know—and it would take me a long time to count! But I do know that I've discovered some phenomenal authors, read some truly enjoyable books, and "met" a lot of people through this blog and the book blogging community. It's been a great two years!
My blogaversary coincided with the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. I've always been fascinated with the Titanic and thought it would be fun to celebrate some of the great novels about the Titanic that have been published within the past few months. (In case you're wondering how far the fascination goes, I drug Hubs to a Titanic museum exhibit on our honeymoon. It was really excellent, by the way!)
Here's a brief "intro" to let you know what you can look forward to this week. I hope you'll stop by each day and say "hi" to these awesome authors!
Tuesday: Yvonne Lehman, author of Hearts that Survive
Wednesday: Cathy Gohlke, author of Promise Me This
Thursday: Tricia Goyer, author of By the Light of the Silvery Moon
Friday: Mindy Starns Clark, author of Echoes of Titanic
Next Monday: Wrap-up Post
If you missed out on my pre-party "quiz," stop by and see how much you know about the Titanic.

Wow Brooke, two years running and still going strong, HOW WONDERFUL!!! What a journey you've had of "meeting" other bloggers and writers along the way, that is one of the best parts of blogging for me as well :)
ReplyDeleteThe Titanic theme is so clever and how cool that the dates coincide; Titanic did not have a successful voyage but I'm so glad your blog has flourished and I pray it continues to do so.
So glad you and Hubs got to enjoy the Titanic museum, where is it located?
What a lineup of talented authors, VERY NICE!! Thanks for sharing who will be here this week to help celebrate!
I will be saying this continuously, but it has to be said....Happy Blogoversary BROOKE! Looking forward to this week celebrating with you, you're a testament to the blogging community of what's possible with hard work and diligence :)
I'm SO looking forward to celebrating your 2nd blogoversary with you, Brooke! And wow, what a great lineup of authors you have for the week! Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun :)
ReplyDeleteI just added the button to my sidebar. Happy Blogoversary Week!!!
Kara - Thanks so much! I appreciate your kind words! I think we saw a traveling exhibit and it was in Las Vegas at the time. I'm sure it's on the road somewhere now ... it was incredible! Very moving.
ReplyDeleteCrystal - Thanks for posting the button. I'm really excited about everything that's coming up this week!
