This week's topic asks us to think back to childhood or adolescence that we'd like to revisit. How in the world am I supposed to narrow down ALL of my favorites from ALL of those years to just 10 books?! I decided I'd focus on picture books that were special to me.
Top 10 Picture Books I'd Like to Revisit from My Childhood
The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Birthday by Stan & Jan Berenstain
Curious George Goes to the Hospital by Margaret & H.A. Rey
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Joffe Numeroff
The Little Engine that Could by Watty Piper
Paddington Bear by Michael Bond
Corduroy by Don Freeman
The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss
The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter
Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel by Virginia Lee Burton
What are some of your favorite childhood books? Would any of these make your favorites list?
Those were some of my favorites as well. I'm actually having fun introducing my nieces to them.
