I hope you're all having as much fun as I am with this Countdown to Christmas Party! It's time for a GIVEAWAY! I invited Debbie Macomber to join us because I LOVED her new Christmas book Starry Night so much. (Seriously, it's awesome! And SOOO romantic!) Sadly, she has a ton on her plate right now and couldn't make it. BUT her publisher graciously sent me a couple of books to give away to a couple of readers! It's the next best thing, right?! (If you've
missed other stops & giveaways along the way, you can check them out here.)
About Starry Night
’Tis the season for romance, second chances, and Christmas cheer with this new novel from Debbie Macomber.
Carrie Slayton, a big-city society-page columnist, longs to write more serious news stories. So her editor hands her a challenge: She can cover any topic she wants, but only if she first scores the paper an interview with Finn Dalton, the notoriously reclusive author.
Living in the remote Alaskan wilderness, Finn has written a megabestselling memoir about surviving in the wild. But he stubbornly declines to speak to anyone in the press, and no one even knows exactly where he lives.
Digging deep into Finn’s past, Carrie develops a theory on his whereabouts. It is the holidays, but her career is at stake, so she forsakes her family celebrations and flies out to snowy Alaska. When she finally finds Finn, she discovers a man both more charismatic and more stubborn than she even expected. And soon she is torn between pursuing the story of a lifetime and following her heart.
Filled with all the comforts and joys of Christmastime, Starry Night is a delightful novel of finding happiness in the most surprising places.

Hallo, Hallo!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part of Christmas is being wrapped inside the warm glow of peace, love, harmony, and joy! Everywhere you turn people are full of light and happy mirth! There is a seasonal change in everyone's attitude which I wish could last through til the following December! I love seeing the twinkle lights come on at night, drinking egg nog & mulled ciders, writing Christmas letters & cards to dear friends, and snuggling into stories of romance with the twinges of Christmas interlaced into the backdrop! I love watching Christmas movies on tv (Hallmark & Lifetime) as much as watching my favourite classics: It's A Wonderful Life & White Christmas. Its simply a beautiful time of the year with a heart full of gratitude for all that came to be and all that is still yet to come! :)
