A friend of mine at work introduced me to this incredible children's Bible. I absolutely LOVE
The Jesus Storybook Bible: Every Story Whispers His Name by Sally Lloyd-Jones. Sally includes a wide selection of stories from the beginning to the end of the Bible and tells each in such a way that it makes a direct connection from the story to Christ. It really helps connect all the dots and gives a great picture of redemptive history. The illustrations are wonderful as well!
I would highly recommend this for kids of all ages. Although we don't have kids, we have one on our shelf!
Some folks around town are collecting
The Jesus Storybook Bible to give to children in lost everything in the
storms that swept across our state a few weeks ago. There are several
drop-off sites around town if you're interested in contributing a copy!
